What is Mylogenics?

Mylogenics is a highly effective testing and treatment methodology for injuries, rehabilitation and performance enhancement, but it can also be used preventively to prevent injuries. With muscle testing, the practitioner detects weak links within the muscle and nervous system within minutes.
Muscle testing:
At Mylogenics, muscle testing detects weaknesses in the muscle and nervous system. Various specific protocols, such as strength, length and subtle provocation tests, offer good insight into the functioning of the muscle and nervous system.
By using these muscle tests, the causes of these weaknesses can be addressed. This is where this method differs from, for example, physiotherapy, which mostly treats symptoms and the results of treatment are often disappointing.
Types of Mylogenics
Mylogenics can be divided into three different methods:
Activation: Activation techniques activate the neuromuscular system by working the corresponding reflex points. This enables specific muscles or muscle groups to perform their functions better. Especially when you actively exercise, activating the reflex points can significantly improve your performance. Have you ever asked yourself why printers always slap the outside of their thighs before they run the 100-metre sprint? By doing so, they (often without knowing it) activate the glutes.
Rehab: Rehab techniques are performed when rehabilitating injuries or musculoskeletal problems. With the many active 'rehab' techniques related to strength, explosiveness, speed and endurance, the recovery period after an injury can be significantly shortened.
The Mylogenics Practitioner mastering Rehab has a wide range of techniques to treat specific complaints, such as knee problems, shoulder problems and low back problems. Muscle testing is first used to identify the cause of the complaints. On the basis of the diagnosis, certain muscles or muscle groups are strengthened with exercises, while other muscles or muscle groups are loosened to remedy adhesions, for example.
Release: Release is the technique of treating adhesions (adhesions) of muscles, fascia and nerves. This can significantly reduce injury time in many cases, as well as provide significant strength gains. Release uses Instant Mobility Stretching.
Sometimes releasing muscles can be quite painful. Fear not, because you ALWAYS set your own pain threshold.
